Start of the module.- day 1

As a group we discussed the title of this module to start with.

Self reflection is a perticularly human thing, is the capacity of humans to excercise the introspection and willingness to learn more about our fundamental nature.

Then took a further step in discussing intro and extrospection finding that, introspetion is the "contemplation of ones self," and that extrospection is the findings externally to yourself.

introspection comes from "Plato" and is "platonic thought."
Plato said "what should we not calmly and patiently review our own thoughts and thoroughly examine and see what these appearances in us really are?" (Theaetetus 1:55)

Introspection is a part of cognitive psychology, its a split between "the scientific method." which i shall look more into and post about later.
